Supporting women through cycle awareness and the changing seasons of perimenopause.
Life moves through many seasons — some chosen, some unexpected.
Hi, I'm Christina,
I founded Spacious Transitions as a place to pause, reflect, and navigate these moments with greater awareness of our rhythms, cycles and inner wisdom.
Meaningful change often begins when we slow down and listen more closely to ourselves.

My Path
I was raised in the UK and have lived and worked in several places — The Netherlands, Belgium, Greece and now Japan. My life has moved between large cities like London and Tokyo and quieter places, including the Aegean island of Paros where I spent several years.
Becoming a mother, living between cultures and changing careers, has deepened my understanding of how life’s different seasons shape who we become.
My early career was in policy, media and publishing. I studied Politics, Philosophy and Economics and European Law, and later worked as a legal analyst within the European institutions.
I then moved into UK print media and have spent the past twelve years working in publishing and teaching.
Over time, and through my own experiences of change and burnout, I found myself increasingly drawn to exploring women’s wellbeing and the wisdom of the body.
My Work
I later trained with the Red School as a Menstruality Mentor, spending the past 5 years studying menstrual cycle awareness, facilitation and the inner seasons that shape women’s lives.
Alongside this I have studied mindfulness, compassion practices and yoga nidra, and trained as a doula, supporting pregnancy and birth in a holistic way.
I am always exploring alternative and holistic approaches to wellbeing and created a small project offering Bach flower remedies and poetry as medicine.
For several years I have been running and participating in women’s circles in Europe, building thoughtful spaces for sharing, connection and reflection.
Today my work focuses particularly on life transitions, cycle awareness and the changing seasons of perimenopause.
I now live in Tokyo, where I hope to co-create a community through circles, workshops and shared reflection.
I am currently continuing my studies in trauma-sensitive approaches to mental health.
